DU admissions: Many courses full despite high cut-off, will impact second list

What this means, effectively, is that there won’t be a second cut-off list for many courses in top colleges. Students still have time on Monday to take admission on the basis of the first cut-off.

DU admissions 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the link for mock test for DUET 2019 at nta.ac.in. Exam to be conducted July 3 to July 8, 2019. This is the first time that the NTA will conduct the exam.

Hindu College has 43 seats for Political Science, of which 31 had filled Friday. Overall, the college saw 310 admissions – most in Political Science and Physics. Last year, the college admitted 172 students on the first day.

Officials Friday said they couldn’t admit students with the prefix mentioned in their OBC certificate, as it was not present in their application form or other certificates, thereby creating a “discrepancy”.

Last year, the highest cut-off for Political Science was 96.75 per cent at Ramjas College. The course received the second highest number of applications this year — 1,30,240 — after English.
