This month, Delhi’s peak power demand has seen huge variations - from 3,644 MW on May 1 to May 23rd’s high of 6.916 MW – an increase of 3,272 MW or 89 per cent, said the officials.

Delhi's peak power demand has increased by around 50 per cent since easing of lockdown restrictions on May 18. Also, since June 1, the peak power demand has increased by over 62 per cent, a BSES discom spokesperson said.
