Nothing awesome about ‘Awesome Mora Mahiya’ song from ‘Calendar Girls’

Composed by Meet Brothers, the song titled, ‘Awesome Mora Mahiya’ has the five lead actresses – Akanksha Puri, Avani Modi, Satarupa Pyne, Ruhi Singh and Kyra Dutt frolicking in the sand and dancing seductively around trees in skimpy bikini wear.

However, contradictory to the song’s title, the track is anything but ‘awesome’.

The typical Punjabi beats by composer duo Manmeet and Harmeet Singh are sounds that we have definitely heard before and on their way to becoming the Meet Brothers’ signature sound.

‘Calendar Girls’ also features Suhel Seth and Ronit Roy. The film is slated to hit screens on September 25.
