The grand finale of Bigg Boss 19 featured several twists and turns, along with electrifying performances by the finalists and evicted contestants. While Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra were present to promote the upcoming edition of Splitsvilla. Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh also took the stage during the finale.
Over the months, Bigg Boss Season 19 delivered its usual mix of camaraderie, fractured alliances, controversies, and high-voltage drama. The season premiered on August 24 with 18 contestants, and under the stewardship of host Salman Khan, the house was whittled down to five finalists.
The grand finale of Bigg Boss Season 19 streamed on JioHotstar from 9 pm. Television viewers watched the show on Colors TV from 10:30 pm.

Gaurav Khanna may have won Bigg Boss 19, but the victory has also brought unwanted labels, with some calling him “fake” and even accusing him of being a “fixed winner” of the Salman Khan-hosted show. Reacting to the same, Gaurav Khanna told India Today, "First of all, these are their allegations; we shouldn’t even cater to them. Today, in the age of social media, everybody is a keyboard warrior. I don’t think I need to answer them. If they don’t like me, fair enough. I am not God’s gift to mankind that every person needs to like me. But I am happy that most people like me."

In an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, Bigg Boss Season 19 3rd runner up Tanya Mittal opened up about his journey on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. She said, "My journey has been like searching for a diamond in the rough. Usually, before finding the diamond, there are lots of black particles that fall on you, it breaks you, and you reach a point where you want to give up. It's been a very tough journey for me. I am yet to find that diamond. I am trying very hard and not giving up. The biggest victory for me in life is that I have come so far."
During the finale of Bigg Boss Season 19, host Salman Khan said, “We lost the He-Man. We lost the most amazing man. I don’t think there is anyone better than Dharmji. The way he lived life was king-size. He gave us Sunny, Bobby, and Esha. Since the day he joined the industry, he only wanted to work. He did so many roles. My career graph—I have only followed Dharmji. He came with an innocent face and a He-Man’s body. That charm stayed with him till the end. Love you, Dharmji. Will always miss you.”
In an interview with Filmygyan, Farrhana Bhatt said, “I don’t really think so because he never did anything in Bigg Boss. Not even one thing he has done makes him look like a winner. But since he has been on TV and this reality show airs on TV, he might have his TV audience who voted for him. So, respect to them and their choice.”
In an interview with PTI post the finale, 3rd runner up Tanya Mittal said, “I didn’t come here to win the trophy. I came to give people love, and now I am getting more love and support. I have earned a lot more than a trophy.”
Sharing what she learned from her stint on Bigg Boss Season 19, first runner up Farrhana Bhatt told ANI, "It taught me to stop 10 seconds before reacting."

In an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, Bigg Boss Season 19 2nd runner up Pranit More opened up about his journey on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. “I had lots of doubts before entering the show. I used to Google things like what the temperature is in the house, what time they wake you up, etc. I had never seen the show, so I thought they would give me a pen and paper and I would write jokes on them. Later, I learned there was no watch, or even a newspaper. I learned that people can fight so much; it was all a learning experience.”
He added, “I was very bad at confrontations in my life. I would distance myself or block someone if I didn’t like them, but here I figured that you have to talk to the person with whom you fight. Later, when I confronted people in the house, I found it very easy, and I will do the same with my friends also outside. My happiest moment was doing the commentary task with Gaurav Khanna; we had so much fun that we wanted to continue doing that. An emotional moment was when I was told to go back to my village during an argument. That pinched me. Sometimes people say things in a fight that are hurtful, so I felt a little bad about it.”
Post his Bigg Boss 19 win, Gaurav Khanna's team shared a statement on Instagram which read, "The three-month journey has finally come to an end… and what an end it has been. The trophy is home.
