The opposition has called for a Maharashtra Bandh on August 24 to protest the alleged sexual abuse of two four-year-old girls by a cleaning staff at a Badlapur school on August 12 and 13.
Hundreds of people had come out in protest on Tuesday against the incident in a private school and staged agitations at the Badlapur railway station and outside the school where the accused was a cleaning staff member.
