A strange CCTV video that shows a parked car slowly moving across the road is raking in likes on X, formerly Twitter. What makes this video special is that at first it appears that the driver of the car is trying to make a careful turn, avoiding the other vehicles on the busy stretch. However, seconds later, a man runs towards the car and quickly steps into the driving seat, indicating that the car was sliding off on its own.

Fortunately, though there was nobody at the wheel, the car did not collide with any other vehicle that was passing by at the time.

The undated CCTV clip was posted online by X user @Madan_Chikna on Sunday. So far it has gathered over 1.2 million views. Commenting on it, an X user suggested, “Every time you park your car, pull up the handbrake, even if it is for a 2 minute stop. (If manual car leave it in 1st gear for max engine braking).”

Many jokingly commented on how the incident did not result in any accident. Echoing this view, an X user wrote, “The car itself knows how to cross the road without hitting anyone.”

In the same vein, another person wrote, “The car is driving itself better than most drivers do”. An X user observed, “Notice one thing how in India despite seeing a turning car bikers are desperately trying to overtake it even if they have to enter into to opposite lane”.
