Singer Ed Sheeran had a chance to meet one of New York’s most beloved celebrities on Wednesday while he was appearing on the Howard Stern Show in New York. The celebrity in question is Maxine the Fluffy Corgi, who has over 9.7 lakh followers on Instagram and who often brightens up people’s days on busy NYC streets.

A video of Ed Sheeran posing with Maxine, in which he is wearing a special backpack with Maxine in it, has gathered over one lakh likes. Commenting on it, an Instagram user jokingly wrote, “So amazing that Maxine takes time to take photos and videos with fans”.

Another person commented, “No. Freaking. Way. Ed Sheeran got to meet Maxine?! In fact, not only meet but also carry! He must’ve been really buzzing after that”.

Ed Sheeran also posted another video featuring the famous Corgi that shows Kevin Myers, Sheeran’s friend and personal bodyguard, doting on Maxine and rebuffing Sheeran when he tries to talk to him. While sharing this picture, the 32-year-old pop icon wrote, “I remember when I used to be the favourite @madmax_fluffyroad”. This clip too got over 72,000 likes.
