Kohli became the first player to cross the 600 run mark this season and now boasts 634 from his 12 outings this year.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Travis Head left behind Sunil Narine and Sanju Samson to climb third in the most runs tally for the season as he scored a blistering 89 against the Lucknow Super Giants on Thursday.
Chasing 166, Head combined alongside Abhishek Sharma to wrap up the game inside 9.4 overs with all 10 wickets intact.
Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson was back among the top-five run scorers of the ongoing Indian Premier League season during the match against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. Samson fell on 86 off 46 balls in a knock laced with eight fours and six maximums.

He was followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru skipper Faf du Plessis who scored 730 and Chennai Super Kings Devon Conway with 672. RCB’s Virat Kohli was at number 4 with 639 while Yashasvi Jaiswal came in at 5 with 625.
