The eight franchises will go up against each other twice throughout the tournament to reach the top four on the points table and stand a chance to win the title. Each team will play a total of 14 games in the league stages. Each win will earn a franchise two points whereas if the game gets cancelled due to rain, the two teams will be rewarded with one point each. The top two teams in the tournament will have an added advantage as they will get two chances to qualify for the final. These two teams will go up against each other in the first qualifier to book a place in the final. The losing team of the first qualifier will have another chance as it will take on the winner of the eliminator between the third and fourth-ranked team on the points table. Ideally, teams with 16 or more points have a better chance of qualifying. However, if two teams have the same number of points, the net run rate comes into play. The team with a higher net run rate will go ahead in the tournament.
