But the real changes will come in the form of the Facebook Timeline.
Everyone hates the new Facebook. But why? The changes arent all that bad. And,the new Timeline,which has sadly not been launched yet,will revolutionise social networking altogether.
So what are these devilish changes? To start with,you can now make out what your friends were up to by just glancing at the sidebar of your page. And you have much more options with posts,deciding who sees it and how. You can also tell the world who you are with,and you longer have to specify if you are posting a link. Not bad,eh?
But the real changes will come in the form of the Facebook Timeline. With Timeline,your older stories dont vanish as you add new posts. Timeline is wider than your old profile,and it’s a lot more visual. There is a giant size cover photo,which will in a way define your character and be different from your profile picture.
As you scroll down past your cover,you’ll see your posts,photos and life events as they happened in time. You choose what’s featured on your timeline. You can star your favorites to double their size or hide things altogether, says the Facebook blog. And then if you think you missed out on something,you can always go back and add those into your timeline. Very convenient if only you could do the same with your life.
Plus,you can add apps to your timeline too. While there will be the old apps you used,the new ones will tell the world what you are doing or what music you are listening. The timeline release will however take a few more weeks.
So stop cribbing and prepare yourself for another social networking revolution.
