ST JOHN8217;S ANTIGUA, March 20: England8217;s openers Michael Atherton and Alec Stewart made a brave start after being sent in on the opening day of the sixth and final cricket Test against the West Indies today.

The tourists posted 25 without loss by lunch in the face of a hostile West Indies new ball attack.

Rain restricted the session to just 45 minutes play, with Atherton unbeaten 13 and Stewart 10.
