Fixer says gave Winehouse drugs

LONDON: A drug fixer has claimed that Amy Winehouse bought 1,200 worth of crack cocaine and heroin the night before she died. Tony Azzopardi,who is due to be re-interviewed by police,claims he helped the late singer buy the Class A narcotics in the early hours of July 23rd, the same day she was found dead in her London home,the Daily Mirror reported.

Kelly Brook beats JLo to best bikini body

LONDON: Curvy Kelly Brook has been voted as the celebrity with the best bikini body,beating off competition from Jennifer Lopez and Pippa Middleton. In a poll,both men and women said Brook had the best bikini body in celebrities. The 31-year-old actress is famed for her hour-glass figure. Lopez was in second place while Middleton,whose derriere gained global attention at the royal wedding,was third in the survey of 2,000 people,the Daily Mail reported.

Flight diverted to Cuba over odour

HAVANA: A United Airlines spokesman said one its jetliners from Washington to a Mexican beach resort made an unplanned landing in Cuba due to a strange odour inside the craft. The flight landed in Havana safely. No details were provided.
