State issues guidelines on drought donations

In order to facilitate donations to the Chief Ministers Drought Relief Fund for 2013,the Maharashtra government has decided to deposit donor cheques directly to banks or with district collectors offices. According to an official press statement issued here,those who wish to contribute to the CMs Drought Relief Fund may deposit cheques or bank drafts with the respective divisional commissioners,district collectors or deputy commissioners of the revenue department.
