CPM activist D Jayaprasad had broken the police cordon at the venue of Chandys programme on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday. Using his black shirt as a flag,Jayaprasad jumped in front of Chandys motorcade forcing the police to take him away and a sub-inspector was seen assaulting and treading on him.
