MLA driver held for molestation bid

CPM MLA B Raghavans driver was arrested on Thursday on charges of molesting a physically-disabled woman in the MLAs car in Kollam district. According to Kollam police,Sunil,30,gave lift to the woman while the car was proceeding to Pathanapuram. The woman sought lift as it was raining. While the driver tried to molest the woman,she raised an alarm. People forced the car to stop and handed over the driver to the police.

Raghavan,who represents Neduvathur,said the driver had joined three months ago and had taken the car to take his son to hospital.
