Arrested Saudi terror suspect pleads guilty
Houston: A student from Saudi Arabia,Khalid Ali-M-Aldawsari,arrested for attempting to blow up nuclear plants in US and the house of George W Bush,appeared in a federal court Friday and pleaded guilty. Aldawsari,20,reportedly said he had been inspired by 9/11 and speeches by Osama bin Laden.
Indian-origin doc jailed for fraud
Boston: An Indian-origin doctor,Kiran Sharma,56,has been sentenced to eight years in prison for committing healthcare fraud along with her husband,Arun Sharma,by a US court,which also ordered the couple to forfeit over 43 million in cash and property they gained through their 10-year scam.

China: Monthly pay to citizens over 80
Beijing: China has announced a special monthly allowance for its citizens above 80 years of age,whose number is expected to touch 24 million by 2015. The monthly allowance will be given by the local governments.
