Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is in Ahmedabad and is scheduled to celebrate Uttarayan festival with BJP party workers at three places in Naranpura and Nava Vadaj areas of the city. Generally, whenever he is in the city, Shah celebrates the kite festival with party workers and family. Shah is also scheduled to offer prayers at Jagannath Temple in Jamalpur and Gurudwara on the SG Highway in Thaltej. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will be present at Murji Parekh ni Pol in Dariapur area of the walled city of Ahmedabad on the occasion of Uttarayan.
