JERUSALEM: A Libyan-chartered ship carrying aid for Palestinians set a new course for Egypt on Wednesday after the Israeli Navy warned it away from the Gaza Strip,an Israeli official said. The Moldovan-flagged Amalthea was heading to Egypts El Arish port,he said. A satellite-guided shipping map on MarineTraffic.com showed the Amalthea on a southeasterly approach to El Arish,56 km away.

Iraq: US hands over Tariq Aziz,others

BAGHDAD: The US this week handed over nearly 30 former members of Saddam Husseins inner circle,including the longtime international face of the regime,Tariq Aziz,officials said on Wednesday. Deputy Justice Minister Busho Ibrahim said 26 people were handed over on Monday and another 29 were handed over to the Iraqi government 10 months ago.

Lishan Wang has been in protective custody since the April 26 shooting of 34-year-old Toor outside the latters home in Brandford. Wang,44 is yet to enter a plea in the case.

The 36-year-old actress wore a John Galliano dress for the ceremony. A representative for the couple have confirmed the marriage.
