Mistaken identity

Hrithik Roshan said that he can never forget an incident which happened during his earlier days in the film industry. He recounted on a reality show how at one time he sported long hair and glares with a blue rim and was mistaken as Bobby Deol. “Bobby Deol’s Barsaat had released during that time and his long hair and glares had become immensely popular. So one day when I stopped my car at a signal, some young children ran towards my car, shoved some paper and pens at me and started shouting ‘Bobby,Bobby autograph please’. For a minute I was baffled but then smiled and signed Bobby’s name on their papers,” recounted Roshan when asked by one of the participants about a moment he remembers fondly.

Good times

Though she has been here for quite some time and has good films to her credit,Jacqueline Fernandez, who hails from Sri Lanka, feels that being an outsider in the Hindi film industry has its own drawbacks. “You can’t imagine how it feels for a young woman to come back to an empty apartment and face her demons alone. At times, the city seems far more alien while the sheer unpredictability of Bollywood as an industry starts intimidating you,” says the actress who has been staying in Mumbai since three years. She says that the language hasn’t been an issue for her as she has picked up Hindi quite well. She,however,is feeling a lot more settled now and believes it’s the right time to prove herself.
