While livestreaming mid-flight, the paraglider suddenly stalled in the air, turning the adventure dangerously unpredictable
YouTuber and internet sensation iShowSpeed once again found himself in a heart-stopping moment, this time in the sky. A video of Speed paragliding has gone viral after he appeared to panic mid-flight when the paraglider briefly stalled in the air.
The stunt was part of a dramatic reveal for his Fortnite Icon Skin, something very much in line with Speed’s reputation for turning announcements into extreme live-streamed spectacles. Fortnite, Epic Games’ hugely popular online title, is best known for its Battle Royale mode and pop-culture collaborations. Icon Skins are special in-game outfits inspired by real-life celebrities, creators, athletes, and musicians, making Speed’s addition a major milestone for his fanbase.
While soaring through the air and streaming live to his audience, things suddenly took an unexpected turn. The paraglider stalled in mid-air, triggering visible panic from Speed. “What is going on,” he asked the instructor repeatedly. The instructor tried to reassure him, explaining that air bubbles had forced a temporary stall and that the situation was under control.
That explanation didn’t do much to settle Speed’s nerves. Clearly shaken, he blurted out, “Chat, are we going to die,” followed by, “I just want to land,” and later added, “This is crazy bro.”

The clip quickly spread across social media, sparking a wave of reactions from fans and viewers. An X user joked, “He’s really enjoying himself.” Another tried to calm the situation, writing, “Even if it stalls, you can still land it safely.” A more concerned fan simply asked, “Is he ok?”
Extreme moments like this are nothing new for Speed. Earlier this year, he made headlines during his South America tour with a bold stunt in Guatemala. While visiting Antigua Guatemala in January, he performed a backflip atop a massive hand-shaped sculpture inside a national park—yet another example of his fearless (and often nerve-wracking) approach to content.
