While talent shows crowd TV schedules, BIG 92.7 FM brings singing competition 8216;Koyel Punjab Di8217; to the city. Organized in association with Dabur Vatika India Limited, 8220;The contest will seek to identify new singers from Punjab,8221; Siddharth Bhardwaj, Regional Director, North 1, BIG 92.7 FM, tells us, adding that a road shows was organsied before the event in city colleges including MCM DAV College, GCG-11, GC-42 and GC-46. 8220;Around 60 singers have already been selected from these institutions and the final 8216;Koyel Chandigarh8217; will be held at DT malls, IT Park,8221; he says that the contest is being held across five cities- Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Patiala and Jalandhar.

8220;The contest is open only for girls of Punjab and the five finalists from these five cities will come together for the grand finale that will be held in Chandigarh on September 28.
