Pushpa sets course record
The weekly Reebok Otto Peltzer Road Races on Sunday were dedicated to the memory of a local athlete, Dalip Singh, who died of blood cancer last year. Pushpa set a course record in women’s 5 km race.

Namdhari cricket
The second Namdhari Suba Ganda Singh Gold Trophy under-16 cricket tournament, organised by Gold Star Cricket Academy, will be held at paschim Vihar DDA sports complex from the middle of April. Nirulas win final
Nirulas beat Le Meridien by 29 runs in the final of Coca Cola inter-hotel tournament. Raj Kumar of the winning team was declared the man of the tournament while Sudhir (Nirulas), Arvinder (Le Meridien) and Nitin Malhotra (Nirulas) received best batsman, bowler and fielder awards, respectively.

Brief scores: Nirulas: 163 (Raj Kumar 32, R K Chand 30, Arvinder 4 for 27). Le Meridien: 134 (Raghav 25, Dharmender 4 for 16).
