The video has crossed 60 million views on Instagram
A short clip of a car sticker has struck a chord online, turning an everyday traffic moment into a viral laugh-fest.
The video, posted on Instagram by @bearys_in_dubai, captures a white hatchback navigating traffic on Circuit House Road in Mangaluru, Karnataka. What really caught viewers’ attention wasn’t the car itself, but a sticker pasted on its rear that read, “Keep distance, EMI pending.” The line cleverly reimagines the usual safety warning, poking fun at the very real pressure of paying monthly loan instalments.

The relatable humour clearly worked. Since it was uploaded, the video has crossed 60 million views and racked up more than 3.5 million likes on Instagram. The comment section quickly filled with users calling it “too real” and dubbing it “the most honest bumper sticker ever”. Several joked that such a message should be compulsory on Indian roads, while others said it hit a little too close to home.
Adding to the buzz, an Instagram user named Sagar P Pandya commented, “Its my car brother thanks for making it so viral.” Another user summed up the sentiment with, “Could not be more honest than this… ekdum dil ki baat” (exactly what’s in the heart).
Others joined in with light-hearted reactions as well. One user wrote, “This is too funny, it absolutely made my day haha.” Another quipped, “Loyal to bank,” while someone else joked, “India is not for beginners.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time a clever car sticker has amused the internet. In an earlier viral moment from Tamil Nadu, Instagram user @rajeshtravels3110 shared a clip of a white Maruti Suzuki Ignis carefully pulling into a parking spot outside a house. The sticker on the car read, “My other car is BMW.” Just when viewers assumed it was a joke, the camera panned to reveal an actual BMW parked in the driveway, turning the punchline into a surprisingly accurate flex and earning laughs across social media once again.
