
UP hills rocked again, 1 killed
CHAMOLI: A fresh tremor rocked Garhwal region today killing one person and injuring several others in Chamoli district . A 55-year-old man was killed in Pipakoti village when his house caved in under the impact of the earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale which struck at 0210 hours, officials said. Authorities apprehend more damage to life and property in remote areas.
Agni test
BALASORE: India8217;s new long range intermediate ballistic missile Agni-II is expected to be test fired from the IC-4 of the Inner Wheeler Island on the Orissa coast either on April seven or eight. This is the first time that the Agni-II missile, with a range of over 1800 km, would be test fired from the island. Earlier, Agni had been test fired thrice from the Interim Test Range ITR at Chandipur-on-Sea.
