Death of Linda McCartney to be probed
SANTA BARBARA: Santa Barbara county authorities have launched an investigation into the death of Linda McCartney following the discovery that no death certificate had been filed and no permission given for any cremation, reports said yesterday. The reports also said she may have died in another state, possibly Arizona, and that the possibility of an assisted suicide had not been ruled out. However, a spokesman for the family dismissed the reports of suicide as rubbish.

NEW DELHI: Two Inter-Service Intelligence ISI agents, including a Pakistani national, were arrested by the Delhi police and a huge cache of weapons was seized from them, senior Additional Commissioner of Police Intelligence S Ramakrishnan said on Thursday. The two agents, Mohammed Ashgar alias Pehalwan, a resident of Lahore and Mohammed Raeesuddin, a resident of Jama Masjid area in walled city here, were apprehended by the sleuths of Special Branch onWednesday.
