Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Ward 226 Election Result 2026: As the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections approach, Ward 226 remains one of the key constituencies to watch. Voters in this ward will elect their corporator as part of the larger BMC election process, which determines the civic leadership of Mumbai for the next five years.

In the previous Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections held in 2017, Ward 226 was won by Harshita Ashwin Narwekar of Bhartiya Janata Party. The winning candidate had secured 11053 votes, registering a victory margin of 4201 votes over the nearest rival.

The runner-up in the 2017 election from this ward was Smita Krishna Pawle representing Shivsena, who polled 6852 votes. Several other candidates were also in the fray, including Sushama Vinod Shekhar (Indian National Congress), Rekha Ashish Singh (Samajwadi Party), Nilima Vasudev Tandel (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena). NOTA (None of the Above) received 352 votes in Ward 226 during the last election.
