Phoolan killer ready to surrender

Two years after his sensational escape from the high-security Tihar Jail here, Phoolan Devi murder case main accused Sher Singh Rana wants to surrender to live normally. 8220;I wish to have normal life,8221; he said.

In an interview, Rana said he was ready to face punishment, but did not want to return to Tihar as he felt unsafe there. 8220;Around 10-15 personnel were suspended after my escape; Director General Prisons termed my escape a blot on Tihar. I can8217;t go back there,8221; he said.
