
A bitter row between the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board PCB and a sitting senator escalated today, when the former was again summoned by a Senate committee and told to respond to some very tough and confidential questions regarding the country8217;s cricket set-up. Although no date has been set as yet for the hearing of the Senate committee on sports and culture, its members, including senator Enver Baig, have asked their chairman to requisition a meeting within 14-days and summon Naseem Ashraf.
He has been asked to give details of all the people employed in the Board since last year when he took charge with the salaries and perks being provided to them, details of the employees whose services have been terminated since last year and also information about central contracts given to the players.
