Guidance camp for admissions

The National Institute of Competitive Exams NICE is organising a guidance camp for filling up admission forms for selection of Naviks General Duty of Indian Coast Guard at St Harris High School, Naya Nagar, Mira Road E from 10 am to 12 pm on July 4. Guidance will be provided by retired IAF officers. Forms will also be available at the camp. Students should be 17-22 years as on 1 July 2000. Upper limit relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Candidates should have passed SSC with 55 per cent marks 45 for SC/ST candidates. Candidates attending the camp should have three passport sized photographs and a photocopy of SSC marksheet and certificates. The last date of submission of forms is July 15. Call on 8110690.

Programme for Kargil fund

The Ambassador Hotels have organised a one month programme with a view to help the families of the jawans who have lost their lives in Kargil. All employees of the hotel will donate a day8217;s salaryand every restaurant in the hotel will donate five percent of its total sales over a period of nine months. A special voluntary collection box and a large banner will be placed outside Flavors and other restaurants for public donations and a signature campaign. Twenty-five collection boxes along with a banner will be taken to all offices in Nariman Point, Fountain and Worli. These boxes will also be carried around the city and night clubs.
