Swami Govind Dev Giri launched a CD Swarvarda Rama recently on the concluding ceremony of Sant Sahitya Sammelan organised by Shree Mahalaxmi temple, Sarasbagh. The temple was celebrating its silver jubilee year. The CD has songs composed by Shreedhar Phadke, the famous Marathi composer. Singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Suresh Wadkar, Arti Ankalikar-Tikekar, Amruta Subhash, Anuradha Paudwal and Manjusha Patil have lent their voice for the same.International conference at Bethany ashramA three-day international conference on the liturgy of St. James was recently being organised at Bethnay Ashram, Ramwadi. Job Kozhamthadam, the president of JDV inaugurated the conference and during his address to the audience, he pointed out the relevance of the Liturgy of St James in eastern traditional India. Fr. Religious fervourThe devotees of Sai Baba have a chance to chant the religious hymns throughout the day. Shree Sai Baba temple at Alandi is celebrating Shreedutt Jayanti Mahotsava on December 12. The programmes starting at five in the morning include Shehnai Vadan, Suryodya Aarti, Kakad Aarti, Mangalsnan, Rudrabhishek, Bhakti Geet, Dhup Aarti and many other religious rituals. The mahotsava will end with Shej Aarti at 10:30pm. The door is open for all.Unite and buildIn the midst of ongoing troubles and tensions throughout the country, Rev. Dada J.P.
