MUMBAI, MAY 19: Mahindra Auto Specialities Ltd (MASL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra, has delivered its first internet-based `Quadro', a vehicle customised as per the customer's specifications."Quadro is directed at discerning customers who would like to accessorise the vehicle to personal taste without having to pay an exorbitant amount for the same," executive director M&M and MASL chairman Alan Durante said in release here today.The vehicle's basic price is Rs 4.3 lakh with rest of the cost corresponding with the nature of accessory demanded by the customer, it said.`Quadro' can be seen, designed and ordered from designcars.com along with customised accessories like body, colour, grills among others, it said. As part of MASL's efforts towards mass customisation, leveraging the internet technology, Quadro was launched in January this year at the auto expo at New Delhi, the release said. A city-based businessman recieved the first Quadro on May 15, 2000, it added.
