CHANDIGARH, Sept 30: The Chief of Staff, Central Command, Lt Gen H. R. S. Mann, has been appointed the General Officer Commanding of a corps in the eastern sector.
A statement issued here said that he will take over his new assignment on October 4. He has also served as Chief of Staff of the same corps earlier.

Prior to moving to Central Command in June this year, Lt Gen Mann, who is also the Colonel of the Brigade of The Guards, had been Chief of Staff, Western Command, Chandimandir.
