Those who are responsible these attacks must be brought to justice, no matter what religion or country they belong to. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those who have suffered in this atrocity. We, the Scottish Muslims, stand united and our prayers are with the families and friends of those who have been killed and with all those who have been injured in this atrocity.

8226; These blasts show that US President Bush has not been able to achieve his goal to eliminate terrorism from the world, despite having launched his terror war soon after 9/11 8216;London under siege8217;, July 8. Bush did succeed in overthrowing the Taliban and the Osama groupies from Afghanistan. But the US seems to have hit a plateau since then. To resolve the issue of Islamic terrorism, the world needs to accept the fact that Islamic terrorism was deliberately used to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan during the Cold War. Now it has become a Frankenstein monster that will continue to haunt the world.

Why did not the BJP raise a hue and cry over a security lapse in 1992 which had led to the demolition of the Babri Masjid? The double talk and double standards are hallmarks of the BJP. The demolition of this structure may have benefitted the party politically but it has left a permanent blot on the secular character of the Indian polity. The Congress party also is equally to blame for inaction and collusion in the demolition.

8226; The writer suggests that if the security personnel had killed the unarmed and people on December 6, 1992, India would not have faced the bomb blasts and riots taking place after the blasts. A very good finding indeed! Nobody demolished any mosque in Kashmir, yet thousands of people have been killed and lakhs have been sent to refugee camps all over India.
