
With just a couple of days to go for the first of the India-Pakistan hockey Test series game at Chandigarh, the Indian team management is anxiously awaiting the return of skipper Dilip Tirkey, who got married on February 6. Though the Indian Hockey Federation had exempted Dilip from playing in the first leg of the series on account of his wedding, the ace defender is yet to inform about his plans to join the squad.
8216;8216;Dilip may come tomorrow and we are awaiting his call,8221; said chief hockey coach Rajinder Singh Junior. But the IHF may appoint either Igance Tirkey or Ajrun Hallapa to lead the side as both are the senior most players in the squad.
