Earning a reward

Arjun Singh, ever the patriarchal Thakur, has the habit of rewarding his favourites. This time, it8217;s the turn of the School Education Secretary Champak Chatterjee, who has emerged as the current loyalist for pushing scholarships for OBCs and minorities. Chatterjee is now headed for the CAT, and is expected to join soon. Higher Education Secretary R P Agarwal is expected to handle Chatterjee8217;s responsibilities until a suitable replacement is found.
