X user @Nilzrav added, "My favourites were undoubtedly #ranveersingh, a true chameleon who can transform into just about any character. With #dhurandhar, his acting prowess is fully on display: remarkable restraint where required, and explosive intensity when unleashed. Every transition feels earned. His multiple looks were just the icing on the cake, his most GORGEOUS screen avatar yet. And of course, #akshayekhanna, had literal goosebumps during some of his entry shots. He goes toe-to-toe single-handedly, with the mightiest forces, and right till the end. There’s sheer magic in his body language, something he has crafted so well in Rehman Dakait, which might be perhaps impossible even for him to replicate again. #sanjaydutt’s entry scene was thoroughly entertaining and provided much-needed respite from the otherwise intense narrative. #arjunrampal too delivered a strong performance, looking killer (pun intended) and commanding screen presence even when sharing frames with Akshaye Khanna. On the contrary, everything #rmadhavan did or said was more irritating and senseless than I thought. Isn't he himself the biggest terrorist if he is waiting for the govt. to change to take concrete actions to save his own country?! Meh.I was initially worried my mom would doze off half-way into the film (as usual) and my dad would complain about the length (despite being warned), but surprisingly, neither became an issue. They found the film gripping throughout. I, however, did feel the length at certain points (nobody cares, I know). The love angle between #ranveersingh and #saraarjun, especially with so many scenes, felt largely unnecessary, and added little to the narrative. In contrast, #rakeshbedi could have easily been given more screen time; he genuinely elevated every scene he appeared in. The last half hour was an absolute blast. The entire car journey, the unfolding of events, shifting character dynamics, and the action sequences made the build-up completely worthwhile.Overall, it was a very satisfying cinematic experience. I’m glad I waited 21 days post-release to watch it on the big screen, especially when the temptation to watch it on a pirated link was insanely high, given that almost everyone around me had already done so. Echoing the general sentiment, I’m relieved that Part 2 isn’t too far away, and I obviously can’t wait to see where this story goes next. #dhurandhar may not be flawless, but it is fearless, and that courage alone makes it a thoroughly rewarding big-screen experience. Rating: 3.75/5. ADITYA DHAR - The Dreamer, The Executor, The Winner."

X user @Nilzrav shared, "#dhurandhar: Both my mom and dad (who are not into movies) walked into a theatre for the first time since #baahubali2, and they ended up loving Dhurandhar even more than I did. They simply couldn’t stop going gaga over #ranveersingh’s looks & his fine performance Not that it matters, but it’s a 3.75/5 from my side. A lot has already been said about the film, its performances, and its content, so I’ll keep this to a few thoughts. The absolute stand-out episode for me was the Mumbai attacks sequence. Everything, right from the background score and dialogues to the editing and direction, felt electrifying. It was emotionally heavy and nerve-wracking at the same time, almost like re-living those horrific moments with the live news bulletins and real-time coverage. Despite being aware of the violence and bloodshed, I found myself flinching at several moments, but also while simultaneously appreciating them, because that very rawness is what defines the power of the film and its characters. You genuinely feel a part of the Lyari town right from the moment Hamza takes his first steps into its streets, surrounded by locals and chaos. Hats off to the cinematography and set-design team for creating such an authentic, lived-in world."

Not only in India but also in international markets, Ranveer Singh’s film has delivered an equally impressive performance. He has been a brilliant actor since before; there was no doubt about that, but he likes to stay in his own world. He doesn’t care about anybody. He lives his life on his terms and doesn’t get bothered by who thinks what about him. He has no PR or anybody right from day one, and he has been like this all his life." READ MORE

Author Abhinav Agarwal took to X to post, "Fascinating PR dynamics at work. In the wake of Dhurandhar's record breaking run at the box office, the number of posts mentioning Shahrukh Khan's Jawaan' success have exploded. Another matter that for every 100 people who have seen Dhurandhar, it's hard to find even one who has seen the other movie, can cite a single memorable scene, dialog, or character. Ignore the lead stars in Dhurandhar, and people will still remember Rakesh Bedi's portrayal as Jameel Jamali for years to come. Even Manmohan Desai's Mard was a blockbuster hit, and notwithstanding that it was the highest grossing Hindi movie of 1985, few today will even remember it. However, it has at least one dialog that has a claim to immortal fame, "Mard to dard nahi hota." Engineered successes cannot claim virality, much less immortality."
