Central Sect defeat Ruchika

NEW DELHI, October 27: Central Secretariat defeated Ruchika Club 15-7, 10-15, 15-7 in their match on the opening day of the Delhi State Volleyball Championships at the Naharpur ground here today.

The Central Secretariat spikers took the first game after a bit of struggle at 15-7 but Ruchika boys came back strongly to take the second game.

However, in the decider the Secretariat spikers fought back well to take the game and the match.

Other winners included, WAC, who beat Anubhav Sports Club, MFIL, who downed Butlerian Club, Jupiter Club won over Friends Club, AFSC defeated Dabas Club, Dhaka Club beat Rana Club and IGTC downed SFS. In the girls section JDHSB defeated New Delhi Sports club 15-6, 15-2.
