BPGC8217;s summer golf camp
The Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Chembur will be conducting a summer golf camp for children between 10-18 years of age from April 17 to May 9, 1999. The camp which is open to all kids in the above age-group will impart basic golf training for beginners as well as advanced techniques for handicappers.

The camp will be a continuation of the club8217;s junior programme which was initiated last year through a camp which was then open for club members only. It is for the first time that the club will be thrown open for children of non-members also.

A tournament will also be held at the end of the camp and participation certificates will also be issues for successful completion. BPGC professional golfers Rakesh Kumar and Jagdish Angre will be the coaches.

THE Western India Football Association WIFA will be conducting the final coaching camp for the preparation of the Maharashtra State women8217;s team for the seventh Women Nationals to be held at Shillong from May 8 to22.

The following players should report to Surendra Karkera, camp manager, on April 21 at 3.00 p.m. at the Cooperage ground.

The Khalsa Gymkhana Sports Association will conduct their 21st Summer Coaching camp for children age group five to 18 years no age limit for girls in the disciplines of athletics, football, hockey and gymnastics. The coaching camp will start from April 24 to May 22. Entry forms are available at the Khalsa Gymkhana c/o G N Khalsa, Matunga from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. Last date for filling entries is April 23.

Star Performers Club will conduct a Cricket coaching camp at the Shivaji Park from April 14 to June 10. The training will be given in themorning from 7.00 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.. The coaching will be given every day by a Ranji Trophy player.
