Ram Gopal Varma is back with Darna Zaroori Hai, another ghostbuster. The episodic horror fest, a sequel to Darna Mana Hai, starts with the trademark RGV item number. This time, James sizzler Nisha Kothari gyrates in the company of tombstones, fire rings and half-naked men.
Aa Aa Ke Darr has Ramu stamped all over it. In itsy gold rexine threads, Nisha crouches, flexes, stretches and shakes with all the concentrated vigour it takes for a wannabe to get noticed. Apparently, Ramu’s brief for the Asha Bhosle number was really simple. ‘‘Give me glamour and expressions,’’ he told Nisha. And when it came to following the instruction manual, ‘‘I was very comfortable shooting the song and I think I look stylish, not vulgar,’’ says Nisha. Hmmm…
