BJP meet deferred

PHAGWARA, Dec 21: The meeting of the Punjab BJP Working Committee slated to be held at Hoshiarpur on December 27 has been postponed. BJP8217;s Punjab unit president Daya Singh Sodhi stated this while talking to mediapersons here last evening.

Sodhi added that the meeting had been postponed due to pre-occupation of state leaders in party8217;s national executive meeting at Bangalore from January 2 to 4.

When questioned about the BJP8217;s principle of 8216;one man one post8217; Sodhi, who is also an MP, replied that he would abide by party high command8217;s any directive about the issue. He said he would meet Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal soon for further strengthening joint SAD-BJP panels coordination at block and district levels.
