
Abhyudaya Bank
MUMBAI: Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank, one of the leading banks in India, has achieved a landmark deposit level of over Rs 1000 crore. The bank managing director M S Chavan stated that the capital base of the bank stands at Rs 12.55 crore and reserves at Rs 180 crore. The bank has 83,500 members and more than 11 lakh depositors. The deposit has seen a tremendous growth, crossing the Rs 1000 crore mark as on August 8, 1999 from Rs 948 crore as at the end of the financial year 1998-99.
