Following a tip-off from the Indian Music Industry, Amritsar police recovered over 2,129 pirated CDs, DVDs and VCDs on Tuesday in a raid at two shops at Baba Deep Singh Market and Jail Road. Police seized 584 mp3 CDs, 1,018 movie DVDs, 342 movie VCDs and 185 song VCDs. Police have arrested Deepak Kumar and registered a case against him. Savio D’Souza, General Secretary, IMI, said, “IMI is committed in its fight against piracy.”
