But a few days can be extremely difficult such that you may struggle to get up from your bed and change to workout wear. That’s exactly when a workout buddy can help you. Sharing a quick glimpse from the gym with her workout buddy, the filmmaker was seen giving us some major fitness FOMO.

She can be seen doing a combination of various exercises (giant set) which include running, raised leg crunches followed by butterfly sit-ups, jumping jacks, planks both elbow as well as shoulder planks, and mountain climbing. Most of these exercises are core-centric and help in the development of the core muscles. “Performing such exercises in a single go without break is a form of high-intensity interval training where you overwork your cardiovascular system and raise the heartbeat and then take a break. This is an ideal workout approach for weight as well as fat loss,” shared fitness expert Garima Goyal.
Tahira’s followers were left impressed with her fitness outing. “Very inspiring,” one wrote, while another shared, “Wow that’s awesome.. what a hard worker you are!”

More commitments – When you have an exercise buddy, there are fewer chances that you will skip your workout as even if one is willing to go, the other person is also motivated to go. Also when you have a partner, there are fewer chances that you will skip a set or reduce the exercise repetitions.
Quitting becomes hard – When you have a workout partner, your commitments will not let you skip your exercise class. You both will have each other’s back and will be the biggest motivator of each other.
Reduces stress – Working out with a buddy lowers your stress levels owing to the support you get from your partner. Firstly exercise itself alleviates the mood by releasing the feel-good hormones known as endorphins. On top of it, exercising with family members or friends further alleviates the mood.
Outstanding performance – There is a psychological theory known as the Kohler effect which suggests that motivation increases amongst individuals working out in groups rather than alone. This helps to improve the workout performance.

Improves mental health – Exercising regularly and that too with a buddy improves the mood by releasing the feel-good hormones known as endorphins. So this helps to keep the mental health sound.
