Govt launches simplified form for pension

Singh said the launch of the simplified form is yet another step by the government to ensure ease of living for citizens and pensioners.

In a move to simplify the pension process for retiring government officials, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Friday launched a single pension application form that combines nine separate forms to be filled by superannuating employees.

The single form, Form 6-A, will include the details of the pensioner, their family members and declarations. The retiring officials will be able to fill the form through the e-HRMS or Bhavishya portals of the government.

Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh said the new unified form was designed to streamline the process and reduce time taken for applying for pension.
