Roger Federer announced earlier this week that the Laver Cup would be his last competitive tournament. The Swiss legend, one of the greatest tennis players to have ever lived, leaves the arena with a list of records, some still out of reach of others. Here are five things we’ll miss about him:

The sheer talent of Roger Federer has stood the test of time. Roger Federer’s backhand has gone down as one of the most iconic shots. Wimbledon: On tennis’ grandest stage, Roger Federer is its greatest conqueror. Roger Federer has outlived his contemporaries.
