Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, along with Vijay Deverakonda and the team of their upcoming film Kushi, went to Turkey a few days ago. On Monday, Samantha gave a sneak peek into the best moments of her trip. Though she had gone to Turkey for the shoot of the rom-com, looks like it turned into a workcation for her.

The first photo has her posing in front of what looks like a mirror in the elevator. She is seen dressed in a black outfit, which she has paired with black sunglasses. In the next picture, she is lying in her car seat, reading Jung’s Seminar on Nietzsche’s Zarathustra.

Samantha has also given a glimpse of her hotel room in Turkey and one of the pictures has her looking all adorable.

Kushi, directed by Shiva Nirvana, was announced way back in 2019 but due to the pandemic and Samantha’s auto-immune condition, got delayed. The makers wrapped up an extensive schedule in Kashmir and then headed to Turkey for a song sequence. Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing the music for the film which also stars Jayaram, Vennela Kishore, Murali Sharma, and Sachin Khedekar among others.

Kushi is an important project for both, Vijay and Samantha, as their respective last films have been box-office disasters. Samantha’s Shaakunthalam was a big letdown causing a huge loss to its producer Dil Raju, who called it the worst in his career. On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger, promoted across the country, ended up as a damp squib both in Hindi and Telugu.

Kushi will be released on September 1.
