Is Dear Comrade the new milestone in Vijay Deverakonda's career? I am afraid not. That doesn't mean it is a bad film. I would take this film any day over three other films that..err.. he did post-Arjun Reddy.
Without a question, Vijay Deverakonda is an insanely talented actor. That said, bestowing the 'angry young man' title on him for playing Bobby or Arjun Reddy is a grave injustice to a historically significant cultural movement.
