By Karan Shah and Priyanka Bhadani Bigg Boss 8 may have got a lukewarm response from the audience this time, but the channel is trying hard to spice up the reality show. Last week came as a shock for many when Deepshikha, a television and film actress, was eliminated. However, Deepshikha was thrilled as she mentioned, “Main Bigg Boss ke resort main chutti mana ke aayi hu. I enjoyed a lot and we did lots of masti. The new concepts were amazing, especially the task where we had to help Sonali (Raut) and Upen (Patel) marry and we won that task. It was great.” In the meanwhile, to add some excitement, Dubai-based singer Ali Quli Mirza entered the house earlier this week. The singer would soon be seen as an actor in Kamal Sadanah’s upcoming movie, Roar which is set to release on October 31. Ask him if he would miss out on the promotions and he quickly replies, “Bigg Boss is one of the biggest platforms to promote a film. I can reach out to all my fans through it.” Ali, interestingly, has a good rapport with host Salman Khan, who even launched the trailer of Roar earlier. But he isn’t using that off-screen rapport in his favour. “I am an entertainer and I want to win the viewers hearts by entertaining them,” says Ali.
