It isn’t the great Indian family drama but trauma. Disney Plus Hotstar on Sunday unveiled the teaser of its latest Malayalam web series Masterpeace, headlined by Nithya Menen and Sharaf U Dheen.

The over a minute long teaser features comedy, confusion, chaos and a whole lot of family. The series also stars Renji Panicker, Maala Parvathi, Ashokan, and Shanthi Krishna.

The show features Nithya Menen as Ria while Sharaf U Dheen plays Binoy. The couple’s small family issues turn to a major dilemma when parents intervene and things spiral out of control, leading to situational comedy.

“Masterpeace promises to be a perfect fusion of family comedy and heartwarming drama, ensuring that it captivates viewers of all ages, making it a true family entertainer,” a note from the streamer read.

Produced by Mathew George under the banner of Central Advertising, Masterpeace is directed by Sreejith N with screenplay and dialogues by Praveen S. The series will be available in languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.

Nithya Menen has previoulsy starred in three web series– Two seasons of Abhishek Bachchan-led Breathe: Into The Shadows and Modern Love Hyderabad.
