I am fed up with item numbers: Farah Khan

“These (romantic numbers) get sidelines. They are not even nominated for the choreography awards for the ceremonies. Love songs are being sidelines because dance numbers are what people like,” she said.

The choreographer-turned-director,who has helmed movies like ‘Main Hoon Naa’ and ‘Om Shanti Om’,also said that she is looking forward to produce a movie without song or dance.

Khan,however,would not mind choreographing Tamil star Dhanush’s latest song ‘Kolaveri’,which she thinks would be a challenge for any choreographer.

“I am big fan of Dhanush and would love to choreograph the song. It will definitely be a pressure… The song is already hit… whoever gets to choreograph it better keep up to the form,” Khan said.
